A team in NUS is working on a project to develop assistive communication and navigation tools for individuals with hearing loss.
As part of this project, they are currently aiming to perform a demonstration as well as a small set of user studies that focus on how they can best represent the information, notifications, and cues via vibration in a mobile app.
They hope to listen to your views and opinions so that they are able to realise this project into reality.
For further details, please refer to the poster attached.

Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has announced that from 1 November onwards, the maximum group size for walking, cycling, and kayaking tours will be raised from 10 to 20. The group size excludes the tour guide.
Tour participants must still remain in sub-groups of five – the prevailing social gathering group limit. Those in the same sub-group may interact with one another. However, those who are from different sub-groups are to maintain a safe distance of at least 1m and to avoid intermingling at all times.
From 19 October, Travel agencies and tour operators will also be allowed to resume on-site operations, adding that this is subject to guidelines from the Manpower Ministry on the requirements for safe management measures.
