SADeaf PhotoMe Contest 2020

The Singapore Association For The Deaf (SADeaf) is organising the 1st edition of SADeaf “PhotoMe” contest as part of our 2020 year-end appeal. Through this amateur photography contest, SADeaf hopes to reach out to the public to share moments of joy and the daily lives of the Deaf & Hard-of-Hearing community through the eyes of others.

Contest Theme: Best moment of deaf integration in the community.

A total of 12 images will be selected and used in SADeaf 2021 Calendar production. Winners will receive a specially curated goodie bag by SADeaf and a winner’s certificate.

The 2021 calendar will be available for pre-order from the announcement of the results on 5 December 2020.

In addition, all participants will receive a thank you gift pack from SADeaf upon confirmation of your submission.

Photos can be taken via Phone or Digital Cameras.

Each photo will require a title and/or short caption.

*NO editing is allowed
*NO limit on the number of submission per person
*You may submit up to 3 photos per submission

Participation Fee:
$10 per submission (Max of 3 photos per submission)
You may make additional submissions if you wish to submit more than 3 photos.

All proceeds will go towards supporting SADeaf’s services and programmes as part of our annual fundraising drive. We recommend that you make your payment via the giving.sg campaign link listed below.

Submit your photos by emailing them (by 6.00pm, 2 December 2020) to ca@sadeaf.org.sg with proof of transaction done via either:

1) PayNow (SADeaf UEN No. S62SS0061C)

2) SADeaf 65th Anniversary online campaign at giving.sg (https://www.giving.sg/the-singapore-association-for-the-deaf/65th-anniversary).

Late submission and failure to provide proof of payment may result in disqualification of participation.

Submission Period: 28 October 2020 – 2 December 2020
Selection & Confirmation of winner: 3 – 4 December 2020
Online announcement of winners and selected photo: 5 December 2020
