Course Introduction
Curious about sign language? Ever wondered how deaf people communicate with and live in the hearing world? Maybe you have watched Netflix’s “Deaf U” series and are intrigued by Deaf culture? Or perhaps you wish to find out more before committing to signing up for a full-fledged Singapore Sign Language course?
Take up this short, introductory online course to learn more about the Deaf community in Singapore, in which you will also gain insights into Deaf culture and pick up some basic sign language!
Jointly developed by the Singapore Association for the Deaf (SADeaf) and Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) UniLearn, this micro course aims to provide information and impart knowledge about these topics. You can learn at your own pace and time, and in a fun and engaging way!

Course Fee: $23.98
Once you sign up, please follow these steps to secure your slot:
1. Confirm your registration: Please reply to the confirmation email we send you.
2. Receive your invoice: We will email you an invoice containing a PayNow QR code.
3. Make payment: Scan the QR code and enter your invoice number in the “Reference” section.
