Sign Language Data Collection Session

We are thrilled to extend an invitation to you for a pivotal endeavor aimed at enhancing accessibility within the Deaf community. We are organizing a Sign Language Data Collection Session for a sign language translation system.

The objective of this session is to record sign data for 10 selected words (School, Home, Dream, Star, Wrong Husband B , Classroom, Best B , Fill, Basketball ), which will contribute to building a robust and accurate database. The session will span a full day, during which you will be allocated a 30 minute slot. Following your session, we invite you to enjoy some refreshments. Our team will be on hand to provide guidance and ensure your comfort throughout the process.

Dress code

1. Please wear or bring a Black T shirt without Logo if you have one, otherwise don’t hesitate to get in touch with us;

2. Please do not wear any accessories such as earrings, fancy glasses;

3. Please do not wear make up;

4. Please tie your long hair neatly.

Your participation will be instrumental in the success of our project, promoting inclusivity and fostering improved communication for the Deaf community.
