Use Your SkillsFuture Credits for Singapore Sign Language (SgSL) Courses

You may now use your SkillsFuture credits to pay for or offset the fees of approved courses by applying through MySkillsFuture.

Below is a step-by-step guide on claiming your SkillsFuture credits. Alternatively, you may refer to MySkillsFuture portal’s guide for detailed submission steps (https://www.myskillsfuture.gov.sg/content/portal/en/career-resources/career-resources/how-to-guides/claim-sfc.html).

  1. Register for the course with SADeaf (indicate intent to use SkillsFuture Credit) or use www.myskillsfuture.gov.sg.
  2. Receive the invoice from SADeaf.
  3. Log in to MySkillsFuture using your Singpass.
  4. Click on “Submit SkillsFuture Credit Claims”, then “Submit A Claim”.
  5. Search for the course using:
    a. Course Name – Enabling Academy: Singapore Sign Language Course Level 1
    b. Course Reference Number – TGS-2025057726
    c. Training Provider – Singapore Association for the Deaf
  6. Select or input the course’s start date and upload the following supporting documents:
    a. Invoice/receipt
    b. Confirmation of registration
  7. Submit the claim.

Note: Claims must be submitted within 60 days before the course start date.

Important Schedule Update for DCCL

DCCL will no longer be included within the 12 lessons. Instead, it will be held as a separate session for all students, scheduled from Monday to Saturday (see details highlighted in blue below).

Attendance is strongly encouraged. Please note that a quiz will still take place at the end of Lesson 12. This dedicated session is designed to ensure thorough coverage of the relevant material.

2) We have the SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) available for in-person (Physical) classes only, not for Online via Zoom classes.
3) These courses fees are stated after membership discount.
4) E-Certifcate for DCCL + SgSL Level 1 will be given within 75% and above in attendance.
5) E-Certifcate and E-Result Slip for SgSL Level 2 to 4 will be given depending on attendance and test result.
6) Payment methods will be either Cheque payable to the SADeaf or PayNow UEN number via confirmation email after online registration is done.
