Be Our Client

SADeaf serves the Deaf, Hard-of-hearing and DeafBlind community in Singapore, regardless of their auditory status or mode of communication. All persons with hearing loss are eligible to be our client – simply register with us! Registration is free. Clients will be issued a SADeaf Client Card, which will entitle them to the following:

  • Free information and referrals, casework and counselling, financial assistance and employment support services
  • Free annual hearing test
  • Participation in SADeaf events and activities at discounted rates or for free, if applicable
  • Free admission to Singapore Zoo, Jurong Bird Park, Night Safari and River Safari

  • Free admission to Gardens by the Bay

Enjoy free admission to Gardens by the Bay. This applies to SADeaf clients with a SADeaf Client Card (If you are a SADeaf client and do not have this card, please email our Social Work Associate to find out how to obtain it.)

  • Special Education Needs (SEN) Fund

Complimentary Admission to Mandai Wildlife Reserve Parks

Registered SADeaf clients holding a valid SADeaf Client Card enjoy free admission* to all five Mandai Wildlife Reserve parks:

  • Rainforest Wild Asia
  • Bird Paradise
  • Night Safari
  • River Wonders
  • Singapore Zoo

Do note that add-ons such as carousel or boat rides and animal feeding sessions are not included, and can be purchased separately at prevailing rates.

  • Accessible Membership by National Library Board (NLB)

The Accessible Membership by NLB provides an expanded scope of library services across all its libraries for persons with disabilities, on top of basic library membership privileges. These services include a longer borrowing period (from 21 days to 42 days) and free reservation of items (which costs $1.57 per item).

To sign up for the membership, individuals must be an existing library member and a beneficiary of an eligible disability scheme or service funded by the Ministry of Social and Family Development, or who had attended or are currently attending a Government-funded Special Education school.

How to register as a client?

You must be either a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident. Please fill in the enquiry form at https://cs.sadeaf.org.sg, or you can make an appointment with our Social Work Associate via email cs_enquiry@sadeaf.org.sg or SMS at 92267621.  Do bring along the following documents for your appointment:

  • Audiogram / Referral letter from doctor*
  • Photocopy of NRIC / Birth Certificate
  • 1 passport-sized photo

*Audiogram/Doctor’s Memo must be within 1 year before the date of application. If not, kindly approach your audiologist for an updated audiogram. Alternatively, you may approach us to do a hearing test at $15.
