Will services continue?
Onsite services and our office will be closed from 15-17 January 2026 to facilitate the move. Online and off‑site services such as VRS, interpretation, notetaking and school-based services will continue during this time and we’ll do our best to make this transition as smooth as possible.

Why are we moving?
The Mountbatten area, including SADeaf and other nearby buildings, is going to be taken back for redevelopment. Outram is a temporary space while we search for a more permanent home.
Will there be enough and suitable space at Outram?
Yes, there will be enough and suitable spaces to serve our community.
How about client activities and events such as talks, workshops and support groups?
Yes, client activities and events will continue at shared spaces at Outram as well as at partner venues. Details for specific events and activities will be provided.
How about Singapore Sign Language (SgSL) classes, interpreter training and The Little Hands Bilingual-Bicultural Programme (LHBBP)?
Yes, programmes such as SgSL courses, interpreter training and LHBBP will continue. We are grateful to YWCA for sharing space with us at Outram and other partner organisations like ERA for sharing space at their venues to make this possible. Details for specific classes will be provided.
I want to meet with a social worker/case manager. How may I do so?
You will need to make an appointment with your respective case manager/social worker, or check with us at 9226 7621 to make an appointment.
What if the new place feels unfamiliar?
We understand things may be unfamiliar at first. We’ll provide clear directions and support to help you find your way, and we’ll do our best to make this transition as smooth as possible. We appreciate your understanding and support as we do this together.
