Singapore Sign Language (SgSL) Course
Basic Sign Communication (BSC) Course
A language natural to Deaf people in Singapore
Visual manual mode of communication
Has own grammar & linguistic structure which is different from those of spoken/written language
Not a visual representation of spoken/written language
Doesn’t related grammatically to any spoken language
To build a vocabulary of signs for daily communications
Is only offered as an enriching course for English speakers
